Tickets Available Online For The Kingwood Summer Jam & Additional Acts Added

Tickets to the Kingwood Summer Jam can now be purchased online at www.ShowClix.com , Keyword: Kingwood. Tickets prices are $20.00 or at the door on the day of the event for $25.00. Tickets can also be purchased at Pirate’s Cove Car Wash 2314 Northpark Drive Kingwood, TX 77339 (281) 358-6946.

Pirate’s Cove is sponsoring the 1st Annual Kingwood Summer Jam at Town Center from 12:00-7:00. Local and internationally known Houston Hip Hop/Rap artist have agreed to perform on this date to assist in establishing a scholarship for Kingwood and Kingwood Park High Schools. Additionally, a donation will be made in the memory of two Kingwood High students fatally injured in a car accident in Kingwood.

American Idol contestant and local resident Sundance Head has been added to the star-studded line up! Also recently added is Houston Hip Hop rapper Lil O, Trapstar and The Jimmie Hunter Band.

Other artist confirmed to appear: Lil Flip, Slim Thug, Lil Wil, Fat Pimp, Big Tuck, Big Pokey, Lil L,
Shyan Selah, OG Ron C, Trae The Truth, Kiotti, The Go DJ’s and others are being added daily.

The line-up is mainly hip-hop acts from the looks of it so Sundance may make a nice change of style at this event, unless he's planning on rapping!

I just read on the MySpace that Paul Wall, one of my favourite hip hop atists has been added to the line-up. Man, I wish I could go to this one.

4 days of classic rock over labor day weekend. Local talent also.
Still a couple of "TBA" spots to be filled, so maybe.

If it is a for sure at the Kingwood show, I just might head on over there and spend a Saturday frolicking around the "HipHoppers". I will surely be a broken thumb sticking out in that crowd

Is it just me, or does it seem kinda odd that a car wash is hosting a concert? Don't get me wrong, it is a great thing to raise money for your community, just never heard of a car wash doin it before.
