This is driving me crazy… no news, no posts, no activity on the board. Okay Sundance, what gives?

Default Sundance Showcase

his first showcase will be this Friday (07/18) at the Meridian. he is excited about showcasing his originals and his band! they sound awesome together! concert is for all ages!!!!
as far as the record is concerned.... our heads are still up high! the paper/article was not real clear on what was stated (heck 1/2 of the article was cut-n- paste and twisted!!!... )what it should of said is that there not releasing the duet album do to what ever reason (they never gave us one except not happy w/production) but anyways were still sending the originals up to them however if we get it completed before they do anything we will release it our selves and skip the whole 'big' label thing... it works out better for us and he has more control. w/in the next month or so his site should be up and running with demos of the songs so we can get responses from all you guys and then itunes will follow. he is happy in the direction he is taking... he feels like he has more control and freedom! he hopes everyone has a chance to make it to the show... tickets are on sell at ticket master for ten bucks or you can get them at the door!

take care guys
misty

Thank you so much for the article link - even though the information was disappointing it was still nice to have an update. I'll have to reread the article when I have a few minutes.

Seems like Red Dog Dan beat me to posting the article. It's definitely an interesting read and thanks must go out to Andrew Dansby at The Chronicle who continues to support Sundance in his features. I know he's a big fan and wants Sundance to succeed. There are some good stories told in there, and I'd love to hear "When The Daylight's Gone", it sounds very much like the type of the song I like. I noticed too that the impending new arrival will be a baby girl. Congrats guys.

Misty mentioned a forthcoming site for Sundance that is soon to be up and running. If there is anything we can do to help with regards to this, just let us know. I understand that websites can be tough to maintain. I also think the prospect of releasing Sundance's music through iTunes is a great idea. As much as I want to to the record store and pay for a Sundance CD over the counter, buying music online does seem the logical way forward in this day and age.

Anyway good luck for tomorrow's show Sundance. I look forward to hearing all about it. The new guitar looks nice by the way.

Work Wish I could be there

Thanks for the updates - wish I could be at the concert - Arizona is just a bit too far - not as far as Russ' land - the price of oil and fares keeps us closer to home. But we will take what we can get.
I would be so uninformed it it wasn't for you guys and postings.
Again - welcome back Russ - we really missed you!

Wasn't trying to steal your thunder, Russ. I just knew there were people wanting something so I posted the link.

No, I know you wasn't trying to steal my thunder. But if ever you want to, then feel free! I'm glad to see that you're as interested in what Sundance is doing as the rest of us.

Sundance, how about sharing with us your take on how things went from your perspective? We all respect your privacy and time, but a few words now and then letting us know how we can be an encouragement to you and pray would be well received.

I am hoping that Sundance doesn't feel "invaded" by our constant need for news - I agree with you Anita, an occasional "blurb" will keep the momentum and support going, especially since some of us get no local news in our areas and we rely on this site - and speaking for myself, I need to check My space more - usually Russ and some other savy folks find stuff - try to do better.

I'm sure Sundance & Misty will let us know when things are happening. Things might slow up a bit again now though due to the arrival of Persais and for that reason I don't mind. A new baby is bound to take up all their time so we may have to be patient but I'm happy to wait while Sundance and Misty make the most of these exciting times in their life.

Having said that, I would love to hear how Sundance feels about everything too.

PS - I'm off on holiday next week guys and while I'll try to check back in before I go, I can't guarantee it. If I don't, then I'll be back online towards the end of August. Take care everyone.
