Would I use black dacron rope as stabilizer cables or coaxial? Where can I buy black dacron rope cheap? I've got a bunch of coaxial cable from when they re-poed my cable box. Dumb asses left all that cable hanging outside my house.

There should be three black wires all intertwined with a silver one coming from a pole to your shack. You can use them. Get a tall extension ladder. Set it up on the pole where the wires come from. Get a large pair of cable cutters, and cut through all three of them simultaneously. No need to tie off to the pole unless the safety rope is around your neck.
